Bennie Goes Paddling

Do Bouviers de Flandres swim?  Ours doesn’t and I’ve never heard of a Bouvier swimming.  But he certainly enjoys a paddle, as this short movie shows.

Bennie  lives within a few hundred yards of the beach at Dornoch in the Scottish Highlands.  And he gets to walk on that beach every day, usually uninterrupted by those annoying other dogs or even people.

Apparently here on the 58th Parallel the sea water is 48 degrees, although it’ll be warmer than that close in to shore when the sun’s shining.

People paddle at their peril – it’s too cold for me – but Bennie just loves it. Helps him cool off when that big coat gets too warm.

If you’re visiting Dornoch and find yourself being chased by a big black wet dog, don’t worry.  It’s only Bennie  having a little fun, and he’d never hurt anybody.

For Bouvier lovers everywhere here’s the AHHHHHH moment.
