Golf visitors pretty much always enjoy a round or two at Royal Dornoch Golf Club in the Scottish Highlands- especially those who usually play at inland courses. Unfortunately the weather isn’t always as good as it was today, but visitors can enjoy it all the more when the wind, rain and terrain all conspire to test their skills, and resolve.
This video shows a group of visitors from the USA having fun in the sun. Naturally they found the hard fast ground, the raised greens and the bunker sand traps difficult to cope with. But that’s all a part of the experience, and one no golfer should miss out on.
There are great golf courses, and there are great links golf courses, but there’s only one Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
Golf at RDGC is peerless – nothing comes close to the challenge when the sun shines and what happens to the ball on the ground is much more important than what happens to it in the air.
