And Tonight’s Malt Is Clynelish

The Clynelish 14 year old single malt was a real find in the liquor store. We rarely see it outside of the distillery. Even better was they had it on special so it was cheap too. Slainte!

This is really unusual, for anywhere really, but especially for the south of England.

I just came across a store selling the 14 year old Clynelish, a wonderful, proper malt, made in the Highlands at Brora.  This was great news, made even better because the store had a “special” with 15% off.So naturally I snapped up a bottle and will enjoy a glass before dinner this evening – might even be two.

It’s hard for the distilleries to get air time amongst all the advertising going on so most people never get to know about really great Scotch, like Clynelish.

But for those who like to get their information from people who really know here’s a personal opinion.

We live less than two miles (as the crow flies) from Glenmorangie and are pleased to regularly enjoy the excellent liquor which comes from there.

We live twenty miles south of Brora, where the Clynelish is made.

So this is the view from somebody who, modestly, thinks he knows something about single malt Scotch Whisky.

Clynelish is a truly outstanding product.

If you like Scotch, and are lucky enough to find it in a store, do yourself a favor and buy a bottle of Clynelish.

Promise, you won’t regret it.

Finally I enjoy meeting people with the same love of the amber nectar.  If you have an opinion please share it by leaving a comment.
